CRAIG PERKINS, 2007
WINNER OF THE BIGHEARTED SCOT OF THE YEAR.
Craig is pictured accepting the Bighearted Scot of the Year 2007
award at the Marriott Hotel Glasgow from Alex Sammond, First
Minister and Jackie Bird. Craig, along with David Moulsdale,
owner of Optical Express and Stewart Milne, Chairman and Chief
Executive of the Stewart Milne Group were all finalists for this
award.
Craig commented “I am delighted to accept this award on behalf
of all our team, what we do to help charities seems like nothing
compared to what the other winners do."
The Bighearted Scotland Charitable Trust was formed in 1994 when
a group of charities decided to work together to raise vital
funds for their individual causes. Bighearted Scotland has grown
to be the leading charity partnership in Scotland with the help
and support of the Scottish public. To date they have raised
over £1 million which has helped thousands of children and young
people, adults and animals to receive the best possible care and
support they need to live happy and fulfilled lives. |
